What else can I say but we had a fantastic Christmas! It was such a perfect relaxing holiday, and we were spoiled with great food and family to share it with.

Santa Came!
Christmas Morning we opened gifts before heading to Grandpa Jim & Grandma Jackie's to hang out with the Ruedi clan. Daddy helped Melia open her stocking and gifts. Keyla & Griffey even got some special Christmas toys.
Christmas Eve
We were blessed to be able to share Christmas Eve with both sides of the family this year. It was a little packed in our house at times but I wouldn't have it any other way. It was a truly wonderful day!
2 of her Favorite Friends!
We got a new cozy blanket for the pups and Melia thought this was a perfect opportunity to snuggle up with two of her best buds. It took her about 30 seconds to army crawl across the room and make herself comfortable from the time the blanket was laid down.
1st Carousel Ride
Grandma Ruedi and Mommy took Little Miss Mimi downtown to ride the carousel and meet Aunt Brooke for lunch. It was a fun afternoon with the girls.
Snow Flake Lane
We went to Downtown Bellevue to see the drummer boys on Snow Flake Lane and the giant Christmas tree in the mall. Grandma and Grandpa Ruedi braved the cold with us. It was FREEZING!!!
1st time in the Snow
We went tubing at Snoqualmie Pass for Hudson's 3rd birthday. Melia didn't get to tube since she's a little young for that, but she seemed fairly happy in the snow. Looks like snowboarding lessons will be in her near future! That's her friend Jaxon who kept her company on the sidelines.
Meeting Santa Clause for the 1st time
Santa and Melia got along great. She loved the fuzzy cuffs of his jacket and although he didn't say it I think he liked that her cheeks matched his!
Mimi and the Boys
Just for a quick comparison I thought I'd throw this in here. These are photo's of Melia hanging out with a couple of her buddy's Jaxon (left of Mimi) is 4 1/2 months older then her and Gavin (on the right) is 3 1/2 months older. In case you were curious, yes, she is bigger than both of them! Her PJ's are unzipped in the second picture because she was super hot.
The Christmas Tree is Home
The tree was up and decorated Thanksgiving weekend. I love being able to enjoy the smell of fresh pine in our home for a whole month and Melia loved the glittery and shiny ornaments on the tree. Daddy loved being done with all his Christmas tasks in one weekend as the first picture shows!
The Tree Farm
We've gone to the Trinity Tree Farm for the past four years, and every year we've found a perfect tree. Grandma and Grandpa Ruedi joined us for the great tree hunt this year which was so much fun for Melia. She's still not sure why Grandma and Grandpa kept sticking her face in the tree's and neither am I, but we figure if it doesn't hurt her we may as well let them have some fun with their first grand baby.
