Family Fun

Today Aunt Darcy, Aunt Genelle, Cousins Avery and Cydney came over to play. We went over to the park and fed the ducks. It was Melia's first time in her stroller without the carseat attachment and she was loving being able to see everything in front of her. All in all a good day!

She loves to watch Baseball with Dad. Think that makes him happy?!?! One out of two of his girls enjoying sports on TV ain't bad!

Happy Father's Day!

This past weekend was Kevin's first Fathers Day. We celebrated by going to the Fremont Fair on Saturday with some friends and to Kev's parents on Sunday to hang out with the Ruedi side of the family. Melia had a great time playing with Grandpa's noise canceling headphones and slept like a champ after the busy weekend. She was so tired she passed out in Grandma Jackie's arms!

2 Month Check-up

Melia had her 2 month check-up today and she is growing like a weed. She is now in the 97th percentile for height and weight. She is 14 lbs and 24 inches long!!! The doctor couldn't believe how strong she is and was very impressed that she is standing up already even if she does get some balancing help from her mom & dad.

Gunnar & Melia's Playdate

Melia had a playdate with her friend Gunnar at his place last week. I think they had a pretty fun time for two munchkins who can't walk yet. For some reason Gunnar thinks it's hilarious when Melia cries which in turn makes Ali and I crack up. Poor Melia!

BBQ B-Day

We had a couple of Birthday Bar-B-Q's to go to on June 6th. Happy 31st Birthday Monica and 29th Birthday Heidi! Of course I forgot my camera but here are a couple pictures Brooke took of Melia with her Uncle BJ at Heidi's party. The little monkey looks pretty comfortable with him!

Memorial Day Weekend

We took our first road trip to Lewiston, Idaho as a family over Memeorial Day Weekend. Some friends Phil, Katie and Ryan were able to come with us. While there we watched Kevin's college baseball team, OCU, play in the NAIA championship tournament, and Melia met his coaches. We are so lucky she really enjoys the car and did fantastic staying in the hotel. One thing she didn't love was her first time in the pool. I think the water was a bit too chilly for her! BTW...our friend Jason Ellison went to school at Lewis & Clark and plays in the majors now so we had to get a picture in front of the huge photo of him that's posted on the schools stadium wall.

The Moose Den

Melia got to meet her new friend Lily Matthia for the first time at the Mariners game. I can't believe Lily is walking already! She is such a happy & beautiful little girl. We all visited the Moose Den but missed the Mariner Moose so we'll have to try again next time!

Our 1st M's game of the year

Kevin, Melia and I went to Sunday's Mariners game against the Twins with some friends. It was Melia's first M's game and she did great. She seemed to love the people watching and noise (although Dad's loud whistle startled her a couple times.) She was even able to get a power nap in.

Nap time!

Melia and her Daddy are not afraid of a nap! Check out her little hands. She rests them on her belly like I did when I was pregnant and for some reason I think this is so cute.

Family visit

Grandma Carolie, Aunt Genelle, and cousin Avery came to visit Melia last week. Melia stayed awake long enough for Grandma to feed her but she must have the magic touch because Little Miss polished of her bottle and was fast asleep the rest of the afternoon and visit. At least Avery stayed awake to play with Grandma!
