Pumpkin Patch

Jim & Jackie joined us for Melia's 1st trip to a pumpkin patch. Luckily Jim brought the camera and got some fun shots since we forgot ours. It was a great day to peruse for pumpkins!

2nd Mariners Game

The Carvalho's braved Melia's 2nd major baseball game with us. The noise startled her a lot more this time around, but she still did pretty good considering how much screaming there was in our section. A row of 14 yr old girls was sitting behind us :). Hudson had an awesome time and seemed to be a big fan of the children's play area. He even got to run the bases after the game. You can see him practicing in one of the pictures.

First Ponytail

Kevin thinks she looks like a Sumo wrestler when I do this to her hair but I think it's adorable. Like a mini fountain on top of her head!

Blow out!

So gross but at least I can laugh at myself and provide Kevin with some classic bowel movement inspired humor!

Snuggle bunny

This is time first & second time I've seen her snuggle her stuffed animals. Now she does it all the time but the blankie giraffe and pink elephant are definitly her favorites right now.

Towel Elf!

I love that she is so big already I can barely get her baby towels around her. We may need to start using to regular bath towels before she's even 6 months old! Sad, because she's so cute with her pointy little towel hat on. I think she looks like an elf for some reason - hence the post title.

Is Someone Tired?

All Caught Up

Elmo Time

Thanks to her cousin Catherine Melia was introduced to Elmo this past weekend and he is a winner in her book. She thinks he is hilarious! She sat on Uncle Cory's lap for the longest time just watching that little red puppet hang out in grouch land; wherever that is.

Staring Contest

Melia having a staring contest with her toy horse which eventually led to her defeating the horse by tossing it to the ground. I think that may have been cheating but I didn't have the heart to tell her.

First Cereal

The look on that adorable face says "what are you feeding me Mom?" She did pretty good getting those first solid foods down; if they can be called that.

From birth to 4 months!

4 Month Well Check

I can't believe our mini Ruedi is already 4 months old. Our tiny little girl isn't so tiny anymore. At just over 4 months she is 19lbs and 26 1/4 inches. To put that in perspective that is the average hieght of an 8 month old and weight of a 10 month old. WOW ~ and to think those first few days I was worried becuase she wasn't gaining enough weight!

1st Party

Melia went to her first birthday party. It was for her friend Riley who's a bit older then her. Judging from the look on her face either her tights were too snug or she had no idea what was going on. You be the judge!?!?!

09 Annual Horseshoe Lake Campout

My side of the family has an annual camp out at Grandma's place on the lake. Once again Melia was a champ camper and everyone had an awesome time despite the not so fantastic weather. Sharman even built a water obstacle course this year. It was so fun to watch everyone try to get across without falling in!
